“If it bleeds, it leads.” This famous television trope is one of the themes behind the new comedy satirizing local TV news titled "Breaking News."

Starring ABC10 producer Ryan Rubi, the film takes viewers behind the chaos of breaking news and pokes fun at the absurdities often found in newsrooms.

Director Ryan Adams and actor Mukesh Patel join Rubi in studio to preview the film’s screening at the Guild Theatre Friday night.
