It's been a busy week for Sacramento's B Street Theatre. With construction of its new theater complex underway in midtown, co-founder and producing director Buck Busfield announced a new name for the facility, the Sofia.

The name honors art patron and philanthropist Sofia Tsakopoulos, whose family quietly contributed the money needed to start construction on the new theater.

Busfield talks about the project — slated to finish construction by mid-December — and previews the upcoming season.
