Sacramento, CA
Fête de las Musique — a.k.a. Make Music Day — started in Paris back in 1982 and made its way to about 540 cities worldwide in two decades.
Sacramento, one of the cities on the roster, will celebrate it this week with a festival called Busk 'n' Blues. Starting at 4 p.m., local buskers that bring with them varying styles of performance will play for free on the grounds of the Claire Raley for the Performing Arts.
One of the singers, Dorothy Morrison, joins executive director for the event Candice Harrington to talk more about what to expect for the five-hour festival.
