The California Department of Public Health released statistics last week detailing who predominantly accessed aid-in-dying medications and why.
In the first 6 months of California’s End of Life Law, 191 terminally ill people actively sought out the drug and 111 made the final decision to take the medication.
Assemblywoman Susan Eggman and former State Senator Lois Wolk authored the End of Life legislation; they come to the Insight studio to reflect on the data.
