There’s a new face in the race for California governor, but it certainly isn’t new in the state Capitol.
Assemblyman Travis Allen (R-Orange County) has established himself in Sacramento for making his conservative and often controversial stances known to his colleagues.
In a new campaign video, Allen suggested crime was up in every metropolitan area in California. Capital Public Radio’s PolitiFact Reporter Chris Nichols examined the facts and has findings on Allen’s claim.
