Painter and sculptor Raphael Delgado recently returned from a residency in Montreal, Canada.

The Sacramento-based artist is launching a series of new activities and collaborations this summer, inspired by some of the unique opportunities he found for himself and other area artists during his residency.

Delgado talks about his work and why he considers collaborating with other artists and community organizations an important aspect of his artistic career.
