Sacramento residents turned out to voice their opinions at City Council last night. It was the first council meeting since Sacramento County District Attorney Anne-Marie Schubert and California Attorney General Xavier Becerra both announced their offices would not file criminal charges against the two officers who shot and killed Stephon Clark in March 2018. Dozens of people gathered at the city council meeting last night to express their outrage at the situation.
