COVID-19 has hit the arts community particularly hard. Concerts, theaters, shows, museums and other performance venues are canceled or closed, leaving thousands without work. Artists have turned to social media and online platforms to make sure the show goes on, and in Sacramento, nearly 250 Sacramento artists and arts organizations have been selected to receive $14.2 million in grants to help those struggling.
