Governor Gavin Newsom and state Sen. Brian Dahle met Sunday for the only scheduled gubernatorial debate before the Nov. 8 general election.
Newsom is asking voters for a second fourth-year term, just a year after surviving a recall attempt. Dahle represents rural Northern California. The debate was hosted by KQED in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, and was moderated by the station’s Scott Shafer and Marisa Lagos.
