The summer heat wave means Californians will be running their air conditions and trying to keep their outdoor plants alive. However, they will also be facing higher energy and water bills as a result. Mark Toney, Executive Director of TURN (The Utility Reform Network) joins Insight to talk about the impact of the heat on high electricity bills, and Carlos Eliason with the City of Sacramento's Department of Utilities shares tips on how to save money and water during the summer months.
