The first detailed pictures of Pluto reveal a smooth, red surface. And this information has given astronomers a whole new understanding of the dwarf planet. California State University, Sacramento Professor of Physics and Astronomy Christopher Taylor has been following the New Horizon’s mission since it started nine years ago. He joins us to explain how the new information about Pluto will help us understand what lies at the edge of our solar system.
