The world’s leading experts in water research and policy are meeting at UC Davis for a two-day conference, starting Monday. The conference will explore ways to balance the global need for more food with the urban, industrial and environmental pressures on water supplies -- all under the added threat of climate change. The conference is coordinated by the World Food Center at UC Davis and the International Food Policy Research Institute and is taking place Monday and Tuesday at the UC Davis Conference Center. Insight is talking with speaker Uri Shani, who is an advisor the Israel Water Authority and the former head of the Israel Water Authority.
