Henry Longfellow once said,"Music is the language of mankind." Eric Presnall, local producer, writer, and director from El Dorado County has been working to make this statement a vision with his new short film titled, "Amusia."
This short film highlights the story of a young boy, Alex, that develops a new relationship with music after losing his hearing in a traumatic car accident. Presnall has set up a crowd-funding campaign in hopes of raising enough money to cover production costs and enter his film into a number of film festivals.
In just one month, he has raised over $19,000 and has nine more days to reach his ultimate goal of $28,000. The film is set to be released later this month, and Presnall and costar Rachel Songer will join Beth in studio to talk more about "Amusia" and what their upcoming plans for the film are.
